If your child has any special needs or medical considerations, please let us know when you book so we can tailor the experience accordingly.
Our therapists are experienced with babies and will do their best to engage and soothe your little one through the full session. Sometimes a short break or change of position helps.
However, if your baby is unable to complete the full session, the full cost still applies as the appointment time has been reserved for you.
Our space is designed for the whole family to relax. We offer complimentary coffee and tea, a comfortable lounge area, a toy-stocked play area for older siblings, and Wi-Fi for on-the-go needs.
We maintain a lost and found at the spa for 30 days. Text us at 416-519-3729 to confirm we have your item and schedule a convenient pickup time.
Our standard massage oil is Shoosha 100% Organic Calm Baby Calendula oil, which is designed to moisturize and protect delicate skin and calm redness or flakiness. It's a great option for most babies.
If your child has very sensitive skin, you're welcome to bring your own oil, lotion, or towel for our RMT to use during the session.

Absolutely — play dates are a wonderful experience. To book for more than one child, fill out our play date request form online, or call us at 416-519-3729 to set it up.
Our appointments are typically scheduled back-to-back, so timing matters. If you're running late, please call us in advance at 416-519-3729 so we can plan accordingly.
We can usually accommodate being 5–10 minutes late, though we may need to shorten your session. If you're more than 15 minutes late, we may need to adjust your appointment to either hydrotherapy only or massage only.
Life happens, and we understand. We ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule, so we can manage our schedule and find another suitable time for your family.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are subject to a $30 + tax cancellation fee.

Insurance and Direct Billing
If you have massage coverage through your group insurance plan, your dependents typically have the same coverage. Coverage details vary by plan — both the percentage covered and the per-session maximum can differ.
We recommend checking with your insurance provider beforehand to confirm your child is covered for RMT massage for the current benefit year, along with the percentage covered.
Unfortunately, no. The College of Massage Therapy of Ontario (CMTO) no longer recognizes hydrotherapy pools as a massage modality, which means RMTs in Ontario cannot include hydrotherapy on insurance receipts.
To keep it affordable, we charge only $10 + tax for hydrotherapy when booked alongside a massage. If you would like to get hydrotherapy covered, you may try to process it through your HSA.
After your baby is born, you have 31 days to contact your insurance company and add your child to your plan. You can also add a dependent during your annual renewal window each year.
Yes, Snuggles n Bubbles recently began offering direct billing! That means less paperwork, less waiting, and less stress for parents.
We submit your eligible claims directly to your insurance provider on your behalf after your session. You simply pay any remaining balance (if applicable), and we take care of the rest.
We Bill Most Major Insurance Companies, including (but not limited to):
Manulife Financial
Sun Life
Canada Life
Green Shield Canada
Desjardins Insurance
Equitable
Empire Life
Industrial Alliance
And many more. If you’re unsure whether your plan is eligible, just reach out — we’re happy to check for you.
Yes, after your session an RMT receipt will be emailed to you by the end of the day after your appointment. It includes everything your insurance provider needs to process the claim.
If you haven't received it, please check your spam folder first. If it's still missing, email contact@snugglesnbubbles.com and we'll resend it.
#4
Tub Maintenance
The big tub is used for children aged 6 months and older, as well as for play dates. It's chlorinated (per City of Toronto bylaws) and fully drained, cleaned, and refilled 2–3 times every week. For context, most public pools clean only 1–2 times per year.
The small tub is for babies under 6 months. It uses no chemicals and is drained and cleaned after every use.
We use chlorine to sanitize the big tub, as required by Toronto Public Health for shared-use pools. The tub is tested every 2 hours and chemicals are balanced as needed.
We keep chlorine levels within an optimal range — strong enough to sanitize but gentle on skin. For babies with very sensitive skin, the small tub (chemical-free) is the better choice.
The water in both tubs is kept at 36–37°C — a warm, soothing temperature designed to relax muscles and keep your baby comfortable throughout the session.
This is a Public Health requirement designed to keep our tubs clean. Doing hydrotherapy first ensures that massage oils don't end up in the water, which would clog the filtration system and contaminate the tub for other guests.
